There is no beach as such here at the moment, although one is due to go in before 2008, but Callao Salvaje is only 10 minutes down the road from areas such as Faņabe where you can find stunning natural and man made beaches.

The resort is within easy reach of the golf courses, the nearest one being the Costa Adeje, which is just a 5 minute drive away.

Callao Salvaje is a convenient base from which to explore more of the island of Tenerife. Its close proximity to the motorway system makes getting about the island fairly easy, whether it is heading north into the Tiede National Park or south towards to more lively resort areas, very few destinations are more than a 45 minute drive away. Do not worry if you don't drive, there are plenty of buses and taxis linked to Callao Salvaje that will take you pretty much all over the island.

Callao Salvaje is very handy for the main resorts but also has the added bonus of being a much more peaceful and tranquil area making it a fantastic choice for those who want to be near the 'action' but not stuck in the middle of it all the time.

The final finishing touch to Callao will be the beach which will send property prices rising rapidly as was seen in areas like Faņabe, so now is definitely the time to buy.
